Heavy-T Delivery Driver / Utility Associate

Rojan Marketing Ltd. is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Heavy-T Driver / Utility Associate to join our Operations team.

This is a dual-purpose position. The primary responsibility is the safe, efficient and professional delivery of Company products. When not assigned to deliveries, the successful candidate will support warehouse and general operational activities.

The role is suited to someone who is dependable, physically capable, accountable for Company property and inventory, and willing to work flexibly across delivery and warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

Driving & Delivery

• Safely operate Company vehicles for which you are properly licensed and authorized.
• Complete assigned delivery routes efficiently and according to schedule.
• Deliver products to the correct customers and locations.
• Verify goods and delivery documentation before departure.
• Maintain accountability for inventory while it is in your custody.
• Assist with safe loading and unloading of delivery vehicles.
• Protect products from damage during transportation and delivery.
• Obtain required customer acknowledgement or proof of delivery.
• Promptly report shortages, damages, unsuccessful deliveries and other delivery issues.
• Return completed delivery documentation as required.
• Maintain professional and courteous interactions with customers.

The Company's existing Operations framework places responsibility on Drivers for inventory after dispatch verification and requires customer confirmation and return of delivery documentation.

Vehicle Safety & Care

• Conduct required vehicle inspections before and after use.
• Check tyres, lights, oil, coolant/water, wipers and other required vehicle components.
• Report vehicle defects, damage and maintenance requirements promptly.
• Maintain reasonable cleanliness of the vehicle cabin and cargo area.
• Record mileage and complete required vehicle documentation.
• Operate Company vehicles safely and responsibly.
• Follow applicable road safety and Company driving requirements.
• Ensure cargo is safely loaded and secured.
• Immediately report accidents, collisions or vehicle damage.

These requirements align with the Company's existing vehicle inspection, trip-reporting and driver-safety controls.

Warehouse & Utility Duties

When not assigned to deliveries, the successful candidate will assist with general warehouse and Operations activities, including:

• loading and unloading vehicles;
• picking, packing and staging customer orders;
• moving and organizing inventory;
• assisting with receiving and storage of goods;
• assisting with stock counts and inventory verification;
• preparing goods for delivery;
• maintaining warehouse cleanliness and organization;
• safely using authorized material-handling equipment;
• protecting products from damage; and
• performing other reasonable operational duties as assigned.

The Company's warehouse governance includes requirements for inventory protection, housekeeping and proper handling and storage of warehouse equipment.

This is an accountability and performance-driven Operations position. The role contributes directly to the Company's established delivery targets:

Requirements

The successful candidate should have:

• A valid Heavy-T driver's permit/licence appropriate for the vehicles being operated.
• An acceptable driving record.
• Demonstrated ability to safely operate commercial/heavy vehicles.
• Good knowledge of Trinidad & Tobago's road network.
• Ability to read and understand delivery documents, product descriptions and quantities.
• Good numerical and basic record-keeping skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong reliability and punctuality.
• Willingness to assist with warehouse and other operational duties when not driving.

Previous experience in commercial driving, delivery, distribution, warehousing or logistics would be an asset.

Physical Requirements

This is a hands-on position. Candidates must be reasonably capable of:

• driving for extended periods;
• repeatedly entering and exiting commercial vehicles;
• loading and unloading products;
• standing and walking for extended periods;
• lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling goods within reasonable occupational limits;
• performing normal warehouse activities; and
• working in warehouse, loading-bay, customer and outdoor environments.
